Professional working with systems and information connected by an artificial intelligence agent

Artificial intelligence agents

AI agents that understand context and move work forward.

We design agents connected to your company’s information, tools and processes so they can retrieve, interpret and execute actions in a controlled environment.

It is not only about getting an answer. It is about turning a need into the next action.

From answering to acting

An agent does more than hold a conversation.

An assistant can answer a question. An agent can receive an objective, retrieve the necessary context, use tools and move a process forward within the limits we have defined.

  1. 01

    Understands context

It retrieves the information needed to understand what is happening and what the process requires.

  2. 02

    Decides the next step

It evaluates the situation according to the rules, data and capabilities it has been given.

  3. 03

    Uses tools

It can query systems, update information or trigger actions when it has the necessary permissions.

  4. 04

    Knows when to stop

When a decision needs human judgement, an exception arises or confidence is insufficient, the process can be handed to a person.

Useful autonomy is not about allowing AI to do anything. It is about defining exactly what it can do well.

Capabilities

An agent can take on the small decisions that currently hold entire processes back.

01

Retrieve information

Find data in documentation, CRM, knowledge bases or other systems before taking an action.

02

Classify and prioritise

Interpret requests, incidents, opportunities or documents and decide which path applies.

03

Prepare a next action

Create a draft, complete information, create a task or prepare the next step in a process.

04

Update systems

Record information, change statuses or transfer data between tools when the workflow requires it.

05

Coordinate several steps

Chain queries, decisions and actions within a single objective.

06

Request approval

Stop the process when an action requires validation before continuing.

From concept to operations

Where can an agent work within a company?

01

A sales opportunity comes in through the website

The agent can check whether the contact already exists, interpret the request, complete information, update the CRM and prepare the next sales action.

02

A customer request arrives

It can identify what is needed, retrieve previous context, consult internal information and resolve the next step or route it to the right team.

03

Documentation arrives

It can identify the document type, extract relevant information, compare it with other data and trigger the relevant flow.

04

A team needs internal information

It can consult procedures, documentation or systems to gather the necessary context before answering or acting.

05

A process is left pending

It can check statuses, detect what is missing, start the next permitted step or alert a person when intervention is needed.

Connected to the company

Intelligence becomes far more useful when it can work with your systems.

An isolated agent can converse. An integrated agent can become part of real work.

The aim is not to introduce another tool your team must feed. It is to make intelligence available where work already happens.

A sales opportunity

From form to prepared action.

A flow designed to be understood in under ten seconds.

  1. Form received
  2. The agent interprets the request
  3. Checks existing information in the CRM
  4. Completes the available context
  5. Determines the next step
  6. Prepares the action
  7. Needs approval?
  8. Yes → Sales team / No → Continues the flow
  9. CRM updated

Autonomy with limits

Deciding what the agent can do is part of the design.

01

What information it can consult

We define sources, permissions and available context for each process.

02

What actions it can execute

The agent works within an explicit set of capabilities.

03

What needs approval

Sensitive actions can stop before execution and wait for a person’s validation.

04

What is recorded

Relevant interactions and actions can become part of the process history.

05

What happens when an exception appears

The flow can escalate to the team when it encounters a situation where it should not act on its own.

Automation does not mean removing people from the process. It means deciding more carefully where they are truly needed.

From idea to system

We start with the process, not the agent.

  1. 01

    We identify the opportunity

We understand which task consumes time, where context is lost and what result the system should achieve.

  2. 02

    We design the route

We define what information comes in, what decisions arise and what actions can be executed.

  3. 03

    We set limits

Permissions, information sources, rules, approvals and exceptions.

  4. 04

    We integrate

We connect the agent with the tools it needs to become part of the real flow.

  5. 05

    We measure and evolve

We observe how the first use case works before expanding capabilities or adding new processes.

Before automating

Not every problem needs an AI agent.

  • If a process can be solved correctly with a simple rule, it probably does not need an agent.
  • If nobody yet knows how the process should work, automating it will not solve the problem either.
  • If the necessary information is unavailable or lacks sufficient quality, we first need to solve that.
  • And when a decision has consequences that require expert judgement, we design the system so a person still has the final word.

The right technology is not always the most complex. It is the one that solves the problem best.

Artificial intelligence agents

An agent can start with a single task.

There is no need to redesign the whole company. An initial implementation can focus on one specific task where there is enough repetition, available context and a clearly defined next action. If it proves useful, we can connect new steps, tools or processes around that first capability.

Frequently asked questions

What is an artificial intelligence agent?

An AI agent is a system that can use information and tools to move towards an objective. Unlike a chatbot that mainly generates answers, an agent can become part of a process and perform certain actions when it has the necessary permissions.

What is the difference between an AI agent and a chatbot?

A chatbot is primarily designed to hold a conversation. An agent can use that conversation or any other input as a starting point to retrieve information, make a decision within limits and trigger other tools or actions.

Can an AI agent connect to our CRM or ERP?

Yes, provided the system allows the required integration. The agent can be designed to query or update specific parts of CRM, ERP, databases, email, documentation or custom software according to the permissions established.

Can an agent work fully autonomously?

It depends on the process. Some actions can run automatically while others may require human approval. At Sesora we define these limits during system design.

Can it work with the company’s internal documentation?

It can be designed to consult authorised internal documentation and sources, using that information as context before answering or taking an action.

What happens if the agent does not know what to do?

The system must have a defined behaviour for these situations. It can stop the flow, request additional information or hand the case to a person.

Do we need to change the tools our company already uses?

Not necessarily. One aim is to integrate new capabilities with existing systems whenever it is technically viable.

How do we know which process to start with?

We look for tasks that repeat, need to consult information or systems and have a sufficiently clear outcome or next step. An initial diagnosis helps identify where the first implementation makes most sense.
